Signing in
There are a few ways into your account; pick whichever you prefer.

How do I sign in?
- Email + password — the default; sign-up asks for name, email, and password.
- Google — one-click OAuth.
- Microsoft — one-click OAuth, where configured.
- Remember me keeps the session for 90 days instead of the usual 30.
Forgot password, or signed up with Google?
The “Forgot password?” link runs a three-step reset: enter your email, type the six-digit code from your inbox, set a new password (it signs you in afterward). If you signed up with Google or Microsoft and want a password too, add one from Settings → Account → “Set a password” — it doesn’t unlink the OAuth method.
My sign-in code hasn’t arrived — what now?
Check your spam folder first. Transept sends a fresh code every time you click Resend and the older ones stop working immediately, so always type the newest one. If nothing turns up, email [email protected].
I don’t remember whether I signed up with Google or Microsoft.
Try both OAuth buttons before going down the password-reset path — the right one simply signs you in, and it’s quicker than a reset. If neither works, email [email protected].
Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Transept’s Free plan is €0 with 1,500 words a month and asks for no card. You get the full editor and can translate end to end before deciding whether to pay.
Still stuck? Ask Literess in the app, or write to [email protected].
