Pay for words you actually translate — self-serve, no sales call to start. Top up when you need more; extra words don’t expire.
Standard mode spends 1 word per source word. Pro mode uses a deeper model — 3 words per source word. Manual edits, exports, comments, and review activity are free — words are only spent when a block is translated by AI.

FAQ
- Plan words reset at the start of each billing cycle. Words from a top-up pack behave differently: they never expire, so anything you buy stays on your balance until you translate with it.
- Yes. Words are billed as source words × target languages × the mode multiplier, so a 2,000-word document into three languages in Standard mode costs 6,000 words. The estimate is shown before a run starts, so you can confirm or step back.
- Your balance never goes negative and nothing already translated is lost. A run translates as much as your balance covers, starting from the top, then tells you how many blocks it reached and how many more words would finish the rest. Top up and it picks up where it stopped.
- A 90,000-word novel costs 90,000 words in Standard mode, or 270,000 in Pro mode, which runs a deeper model for tone and voice. Starter covers a Standard pass inside one month; Pro covers a Pro-mode pass. If a manuscript runs past your monthly allowance, a word pack covers the remainder and never expires.
- No. Creating a team and inviting people is free on every plan, including Free. Seats are optional and do exactly one thing: fund a shared word pool. Without a pool, each member's translations bill their own balance, which is often what a group of freelancers wants anyway.
- Pack words stay on your account and still never expire. Unused monthly plan words are forfeited when you cancel, the same way they reset at the end of any billing cycle. Your documents, translations, glossaries, and styleguides are kept until you delete them.
- Billing is monthly, with no annual contract and no minimum term. To pay for volume up front, buy a word pack instead: pack words never expire, so a pack bought today still counts a year from now.
