Import & export

Export to TMX, XLIFF & CSV

From the Transept team
The new Translation data exports.

Transept now speaks the standard translation-interchange formats, so your work is never locked in. Export a document straight into the shape your other tools expect — Trados, memoQ, Phrase, or a plain spreadsheet — and bring your terminology along too.

Added

  • TMX (translation memory) — bilingual source/target segment pairs that any TM tool can import. A multi-language document exports every language in one file.
  • XLIFF 1.2 — the bilingual working file CAT tools open for review; a multi-language document includes one section per language.
  • CSV — a source column plus one column per target language, ready for Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Glossaries export too, from the glossary page — as CSV or TBX, the terminology-interchange standard.

Changed

  • The editor’s export menu gains a Translation data section for the new formats, alongside the existing Word, Markdown, HTML, Notion and Google Docs exports.
