Translation

One document, every language

From the Transept team
Language versions as tabs.

A document is no longer tied to one target language. Translate into several at once, and keep them all in step with the source.

Added

  • Multi-language versions — choose several target languages at setup, or add more later from the language pill near the title. Each language is its own version, linked to the same source and switchable from a tab bar.
  • On the dashboard, every language version of a document folds into a single card with a chip per language.

Changed

  • Symmetric source re-sync — there’s no fixed “original” anymore. Edit any version’s source, and a Re-sync button brings the others in line, returning only the changed blocks to be re-translated.
